Rumors have swirled about former Governor Deval Patrick’s presidential bid and now, the rumors are true. Yesterday, Patrick confirmed that he was in fact considering a 2020 run. Combined with speculation that Senator Elizabeth Warren and Congressman Seth Moulton may also vie for the bid, but will they all really? Jim Braude was joined by Lauren Dezenski, Politico reporter and co-host of The Horse Race podcast; Rachael Cobb, chair of the political science department at Suffolk University; and Frank Phillips, State House bureau chief for The Boston Globe to discuss.
North Korean Thaw, Real Or Fake? And Is Trump To Blame?

Following the sudden thaw in the Korean peninsula, Jim Braude was joined by Katharine Moon, a political science professor at Wellesley College and non-resident senior fellow at Brookings Institute and Carol Saivetz, a senior advisor at MIT's Security Studies Program to discuss whether we can believe it and if credit for President Trump is due for his unorthodox foreign policy strategy.
Baby Box Program Proposal

Fifty years ago, baby boxes —cardboard boxes with mattresses— made waves in Finland after helping provide a solution for sudden infant death. Now, the strategy is being brought back to the forefront with a new bill in the state house proposing a baby box pilot program. WGBH News reporter Tina Martin has more on that bill.
