How Previous Political Corruption Cases Could Affect Brian Joyce

Brian Joyce, the former state senator representing Milton, faces more than 100 criminal charges alleging he turned his public office into the focal point of a lucrative criminal enterprise, according to a 102-page federal indictment filed last week.

Morning Edition’s Joe Mathieu spoke with WGBH legal analyst and Northeastern Law Professor Daniel Medwed about those charges and the possible role a Supreme Court ruling on an unrelated political corruption case could play in determining Joyce's future.
