Massachusetts is considering limiting another potentially dangerous drug in our medicine cabinets. Lawmakers this week held a public hearing on regulating benzodiazepines – drugs like Xanax, Valium, Ativan. They were once jokingly referred to as “mother’s little helpers.” But for many, these drugs are not a laughing matter.
