The Year In Massachusetts Politics

There was no presidential contest, no major turnover in Congress,  and just two states held gubernatorial races in 2013, but Massachusetts seemed to be in a perpetual state of special election. That, coupled with this year’s contentious Boston mayoral race – made for some juicy political headlines. 

Greater Boston  took a look a seismic political shift underway in Boston as the Menino era draws to a close, the rush to turn non-stories into big political stories in 2013, and if the Governor's race doesn't turn the tide in Massachusetts- the party's future viability may be in doubt.
