Tale Of Two Plays: Drawing Distinctions And Parallels

Two shows dominating the theater landscape right now are drawing some distinct parallels, despite the fact that they couldn't be more different, as WGBH arts editor Jared Bowen illustrates.

The Seagull,” open at the Huntington Theatre, is the classic, century-old Chekhov play. While across town, Company One Theatre's “The Flick” is a new play by a fresh, young playwright.
