Sean Collier's Family Asks for National First Responders Day

June 28, 2013

The family of Sean Collier, the 27-year-old MIT police officer who was killed in his cruiser a few days after the Boston Marathon bombings, has asked Congress and the president to declare a day to honor first responders.

Collier's sister, Jennifer Lemmerman, sat down with Emily Rooney to talk about the National Responders Day her family envisions, her relationship with her younger brother and how she has handled the June 27 indictment of bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
