New Play Reveals the Voices of Occupy Boston

September 21, 2012

It was a year ago this week that political activists, curious college students, homeless individuals, anarchists and others began assembling on Dewey Square. Like a lot of people, Danny Bryck spent considerable time down there. And like a lot of people Danny spoke with folks he might not otherwise have ever encountered. But unlike most people, Danny recorded them. Dozens of them. And now, one year later, he is giving them voice once again.

His one man show No Room For Wishing, presented by Company One and Central Square Theater, is made up entirely of words spoken by people involved with Occupy Boston during the final three months of 2011.

Guest:
Danny Bryck, actor and theater artist behind the one man show No Room for Wishing
