Massachusetts Domestic Workers Lobby For A Bill Of Rights

As we’ve seen throughout our series on elder care, home health workers are an important resource for many families. Along with nannies and house cleaners, these domestic workers to provide care and compassion to our loved ones. But there’s growing awareness that that compassion is not always reciprocated.

Sonia Soares, who is a domestic worker, and Natalicia Tracy, who founded the Massachusetts Coalition for Domestic Workers, discussed what the Domestic Workers' Bill of Rights would entail.
