JFK Before He Became The Charismatic Character We Remember

This month marks 50 years since the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

For a country captivated by the charismatic president, his death came as profound shock. But before Camelot, there was another JFK. A raw 29-year-old running in his first election,  and victory in the 1946 Congressional primary was far from assured.
