June 13, 2013

The Rolling Stones rolled into Boston June 12 for their 50 & Counting tour to celebrate five decades of performances.

The band played their first Boston-area show the summer of 1966 at the Manning Bowl in Lynn and in the 1990s made a habit of starting their American tours here.  Music journalist Stephen Davis went to many of those shows and wrote a biography of the band in 2001. He tells us about the memorable ones, and Emily Rooney shares her favorite Stones songs.
