Boston's Under the Radar Arts Scene

December 3, 2014

I. This week on Under the Radar with Callie Crossley, we caught up on the cultural season with the anticipation of the arrival of Boston's new arts chief; took a closer look at the closing of the Factory Theater- which left small theater companies scrambling for performance space; and discussed a project called Solas Nua, which is the only arts organization in the country dedicated solely to shining a new light on contemporary Irish arts.

GUESTS

  • Susanna Jackson: arts and entertainment editor for DigBoston
  • Joel Brown: contributor for the Boston Globe writing the Stages column about local theater.

II: The holiday eating season is upon us! Jonathon Alsop, of the Boston Wine School, and Amy Traverso, lifestyle editor at Yankee Magazine, joined us to talk about what's new and next in food and wine.
