Cinema Classic Challenge: Does The Original 1973 'Westworld' Hold Up? We Thought So

Have you ever longed to gallop across the open plains of the American frontier? Have you dreamed of walking into a saloon, throwing back a shot of whiskey and playing cards with a gang of undesirables? If you reach for your six shooter every time the clock strikes high noon, then Boston Public Radio has a proposition for you. Jim Braude and Margery Eagan along with film critic Garen Daly hosted a trip to the original 1973 edition of Westworld created by Michael Crighton at the Somerville Theatre on February 16th at 7:00 p.m. Whether or not you caught the new rendition of Westworld on HBO, we loved spending time with fans and sci-fi movie lovers on a journey to the original theme park. Later, we took your calls to get your take: Does the 1973 classic still hold up?
